Herring and tailor have also been biting at the moles, along with a few surprise king george whiting.Offshore, there have been plenty of KGs and it has been a great year for fishing for the prized catch.Samson fish have been caught around the cray pots along the Three-Mile Reef and on Direction Bank. There have been good numbers of giant trevally to around 30kg coming the shore at the Oysters. There was a 60cm-plus fish caught near the Narrows this week. SKIPPY and herring are biting at Rottnest this week, with king george whiting in Cockburn Sound and bream biting at Maylands.
