The Canteen Tap House & Tavern is a locally owned and operated restaurant in Breckenridge, Colorado located in a historic 1860's cabin. Maybe there are better places, but this place feels pretty local and homet, not unlike the Bread Basket.This is probably both the first and last time we will go there.Excellent food, excellent service, fresh ingredients, best breakfast spot in Barrington by far!Love the service and Good Food. The food was delicious.

The interior was very eclectic with WWII movie and model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. The service is always amazing, and the food is delicious.
The hotel is a trendy boutique hotel with movie themes suites. The Canteen. We found the seating was really close together, there were very few menu choices and the waitress we had didn't want to be there I don't think. They miss-marked the orders, so people at each other's food (but we dealt), so like everywhere, I'd make sure it's labeled right before diving in (had this problem elsewhere). I see many outstanding reviews by locals. We ate outside last weekend, and place a to go order yesterday. Tasted like Van Camps straight out of the can.
Canteen Marlin. This is completely over priced for what you get. Love the canteen 5 stars!Went to this restaurant for the first time today and the food was terrible. This restaurant is a must for those who want exceptional quality and value. The restaurant serves modern European food with a strong emphasis on high quality ingredients. Food meant to be enjoyed with friends and family.
The baked beans are . snobby service, overly trendy decor, and allegedly trendy menu items! We will be back for sure.Great breakfast, friendly staff and fun place. The Huntsville/Madison County Downtown Visitor Center is now open.
At The Canteen, you will find made-to-order breakfast for on-site dining alongside an array of grab and go items to make picnicking an absolute breeze. Over the years I have driven by and never noticed them.I tried to place an order for pickup (I was dropping someone off at the train station, and figured that I would grab myself some breakfast). My lunch companion ordered a southwest style salad, but there was no dressing on the salad and no fork in the bag. They smoke all there meats in house! When I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 AM there was not one customer in the place and I can see why. Had an incredible breakfast with my daughters and truly enjoy my experience every time I go to this place.
