L'Air du Desert Marocain is one of Tauer's most popular fragrances, and the one that really put Tauer on the map as a perfume brand, allowing Andy to "quit his day job" and focus on perfume as a career.

But certain nuances have been dialed up and some down, so that while it is recognizable as a twin to the original, it is definitely a fraternal rather than identical twin. It's still in evidence the next morning post-shower, long after LADDM has faded. Weirdly when I first put it one, it had a really sweet, chocolatey beginning - which no other review I've seen has remarked on. As it settles after a couple of hours, it forms a warm, morphing mix of amber and woods with a bit more incense or cedar showing up after a few hours.
