Recently large Sunfish are being caught in Ottertail which is unusual as ottertail never had a panfish population. heading up tonight to give it a run. Unfortunately you have the wrong boat for that as there is a 25 hp motor restriction. However I will say with some certanty that you will not want or be able to physically portage the boat to Newton. Access to Canada (the Crown land and Quetico Park).

I haven't been there in 20 years and I remember that there were restrictions and we needed day use permits for our motors if traveling into the BWCA.I now have a 90 hp motor on my boat and if I recall correctly one can use this on the majority of Fall lake.
