The appetizer and dessert were delicious and the main meal was their cioppino which was excellent.

As a cabezon grows older, it settles into tide pools, then moves to reefs and kelp forests.

They lack scales and have a fleshy skin flap between their nostrils.
Buy Cabezon fish, California, Pacific Ocean. A warm salt cod brandade served with a lovely little salad was the first course - the best salt cod brandade we have tasted. The phyllo-wrapped shrimp is a must-have!Cabezon is a gem located in our neighborhood. Service was excellent, waitstaff very professional and friendly.The scallops and lamb were cooked perfectly! And the profiteroles...Cabezon is our most favorite restaurant in Portland. Wonderful service!

Great wine and beer selections as well.Love this restaurant...it’s in our neighborhood and feels warm and inviting.we celebrated my daughters birthday and they greeted her and put a candle in our Devine pear tart and house made vanilla ice cream.!

Cabezon can grow up to 99 cm (38.9 in) in length, and 6.8 kg (15 lbs) in weight.

But above all, the food was fabulous. Will be recommending this place to other friends headed to PDX and you can count on us being there next trip as well.The Portland Dining Month menu was tasty and a good value overall. It is delicious, creative and consistently fabulous.

Atmosphere is cool too. We are outside. It was creamy, peppery, and delicious. Oh! My only wish is to have a full vegetarian main course (not just soup or salad) on the menu...but, then this is a fish focused establishment and I wouldn't necessarily expect that (I would not go to a steak house for veg meals).

The cioppino is off the charts, the oysters where fresh and flavorful and ginger cake with lemon was a fantastic way to end the meal.Solid menu, fresh food, great service as always! Cabezon have small teeth and a large, branched cirrus above each eye. The larval young drift out to sea, then develop into small, silvery fish that often hide under mats of drifting kelp. Loved everything we ate.
